CNC Machinist w/programming Skills $45/hour – Permanent Job
Responsibilities:
- Program, setup and operate CNC multi-axis lathe and/or milling machines
- Using various metal types from raw stock to finished products
- Plan and layout work from customer drawings and other specifications
- Determine speeds, feeds, tolerances, and sequences of machine operations
- Make all setups and adjust machines as needed
- Fishing metal by hand or machine
- Using measuring instruments such as: vernier calipers, micrometers, surface gages, profilometer, CMM, vision systems and dial indicators
- Calculating complex and/or component angles and dimensions
- Using computer programs as needed
Qualifications:
- At least five years previous experience preferred
- Ability to read and understand blueprints
- Experience with measuring instruments
Hours are:
Monday through Thursday – 6am to 4:30pm
The pay is up to $45.00 an hour based on experience
