CNC Milling Machinist $35/hour – 2nd shift (Direct Hire)
This position is a DIRECT HIRE ROLE from day one
Responsibilities:
- Setup and operate CNC Milling HAAS Machine
- Loads starting material into machine and unloads machined part from machine
- Deburrs Parts as necessary for Inspection and Safety
- Adjusts tool offsets and other machine offsets such as fixture offsets, cutter comp
- Aligns and secures cutting tools into tool holders and then installs tool assemblies on machines per tool sheet.
- Retrieves CNC program, ensures revision is correct, and downloads to machine.
- Starts and observes machine operation to detect malfunctions or out-of-tolerance machining, and adjusts set-up as required to make part within specification.
- Document results and get first-piece stamp for operation.
Qualifications:
- Previous CNC milling experience
- Ability to read and understand blueprints
- Experience with precision measuring instruments
- Good attention to detail
Hours are:
Monday through Friday – 3:30pm to 11:00pm
The pay is up to $35.00 an hour based on experience
