CNC Plasma Cutting Machine Operator -$30/hour
Job Type: Full-Time
We are seeking an experienced CNC Plasma Cutting Machine Operator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience operating CNC-controlled plasma cutting equipment and be able to work independently while maintaining quality and safety standards.
Responsibilities:
- Operate and monitor CNC plasma cutting machines to produce parts according to specifications.
- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and work orders.
- Set up materials and machine parameters for cutting operations.
- Inspect finished parts to ensure quality and accuracy.
- Perform routine machine maintenance and troubleshooting as needed.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
- Follow all company safety procedures and production requirements.
Requirements:
- Previous experience operating a CNC-controlled plasma cutting machine is required.
- Experience with handheld plasma cutters alone does not meet the requirements for this position.
- Ability to read and understand blueprints and technical drawings.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Reliable attendance and ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
- Basic mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills preferred.
Schedule
Monday through Friday 7am to 3:30pm
Pay is up to $30.00 an hour based on experience
