Fabricator of Glass – $25/hour
Responsibilities:
- Fabrication and cutting of commercial window framing/glass
- Structural taping
- Build windows using various air tools such as drills, saws, using hand tools such as screwdrivers, files, chisels
- Helping different departments if need such as meshing hand screen material into proper channels
- Setup, onload crates to a glass auto feed, make grids to lay in between the glass
- Keep up with inventory – responsible for keeping track of department stock. Identify when low, report to supervisor so it does not run out
- Read cutting report, find, identify and cut to order size within 1/64 inch
- Run large industrial saws, air tools and hydraulic punch press as well as flywheel punch press
- Punch appropriate pieces in appropriate presses for assembly
- Unload delivered stock, identify and put away in proper location
Requirements are:
- Previous experience with fabrication and cutting of glass preferred
- Experience with power tools and saws
- Experience with hand tools
Hours are:
Monday through Friday- 7am to 3:30pm
The pay is up $25.00 an hour
