Machine Operator / Swiss (2nd shift $30/hour) – Direct hire
This position is a DIRECT HIRE ROLE from day one
Responsibilities:
- Setup and operate multi-spindle, high volume production, Acme, Wickman, Tornos, Davenport and Swiss, hydromat machines
- Offset changes, tooling changes, tooling adjustments, machine repairs as needed during production runs
- Submitting first piece samples and documentation to quality control
- Setting up tools and verifying correct part number
- Assist with any tooling or setup problems as needed
- Make sure the setup is approved and the machine is ready for production
- Using control plans/print requirements to produce parts according to specifications
- Following quality management system specifications -ISO9001-2015
Qualifications:
- Ability to read and understand blueprints
Hours are:
Second shift – Monday through Friday – 2pm to 10:30pm
The pay is up to $28.00 to $30.00 an hour based on experience
