Mechanical Assembly / Hardware insertion (2nd shift)

Responsibilities:

Assembly mechanical components and systems -sheet metal products
Setting up and operating hardware insertion machines (Heager, PEM).
Installing studs, pem nuts, rivet
Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and assembly instructions to assemble mechanical components accurately.
Utilize hand tools, power tools, and other equipment to assemble products according to specifications.
Perform quality checks on completed assemblies to ensure they meet the company’s standards.
Identify and troubleshoot any issues that arise during the assembly process.
Document assembly processes and maintain records of completed work.

Qualifications:

Previous experience as a mechanical assembler in a manufacturing company
Previous experience with operating hardware insertion machines such as Heager, PEM is a plus
Experience with installing studs, pem nuts, rivets
Mechanical assembly within a manufacturing environment, including assembling cabinets is preferred
Able to read and interpret technical documents, blueprints, and schematics.
Experience with hand tools, power tools, and assembly equipment.
Mechanical aptitude
Sheet Metal job shop experience

Hours are:

Second Shift – Monday through Thursday – 4pm to 2:30am

The pay is up to $26.00 an hour based on experience
