Press Brake Operator – $28/hour

Abilities and Qualifications:

Setup and operate state of the multi-axis hydraulic press brakes
Select, position and align various types of brake tooling.
Setup with minimal supervision from blueprints and computer stored information.
Interpret drawings and create forming sequences with multiple tooling sets with a goal to decrease part handling time.
Use bend allowance or set-back to figure bend lines and stock left over.
Form simple to complex work to +/- .005 tolerances including short and long runs.
Inspect work prior to first inspection and maintain quality parts throughout job.
Manual dexterity required for operating machinery and computer.
Able to do some heavy lifting.
Able to enter job quantities and labor information into computer system.
Basic reading, writing and arithmetic skills required.
Required to provide own tools needed to perform job
Work with management and engineering on special or prototype jobs and testing tools.
Able to read and understand work orders.
Able to use gauges and precision measuring instruments to ensure accuracy of close tolerance work.
Other duties as assigned.

Hours:

Monday through Friday – 7am – 3:30pm or Monday through Thursday 3:30pm – 2:00am
