Quality Inspector for Sheet Metal Company – $28/hour

Responsibilities:

Inspecting parts following customer requirements using drawings, inspection lists and visual inspections
Interpreting customer specifications
Assess and manage RMA’s for disposition
Enter non-conforming material into the database and maintain the database
Create RMA work orders for repair or remake
Visually and dimensionally inspect sheet metal parts for approval
Use SolidWorks to provide information to departments
Perform dimensional inspections on machined components
Maintain accurate acceptance and rejection records

Qualifications:

At least five years previous experience inspecting sheet metal and/or machined parts
Knowledge of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing. GD&T must be at a high level
Able to read and understand specifications on prints – must be at a high level
Experience with Microsoft Excel
Experience using calipers, micrometers and height gauges
Strong analytic ability
Good attention to detail

Hours

Monday – Friday 7:00am – 3:30pm

The pay is up to $28.00 an hour based on experience
