Swiss Machinist (2nd shift) Up to $33/hour plus 15% S/D – Permanent Job
This position is a DIRECT HIRE ROLE from day one
Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Swiss Machinist for a full-time, direct hire opportunity.
This is a second shift position offering competitive pay and a comprehensive benefits package.
The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with Swiss machines and strong knowledge of machining processes.
Responsibilities:
• Set up and operate Swiss machines (single and/or multiple spindle)
• Work with lathes, mills, mill-turn equipment, centerless grinders, and multi-axis grinders
• Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and specifications
• Select and install tooling, work holding, and fixtures for each job
• Perform routine maintenance and troubleshoot equipment issues
• Make necessary machine adjustments to maintain quality
• Inspect finished parts to ensure accuracy and compliance
• Accurately document production and work performed
Qualifications:
• Previous experience with Swiss machining required
• Strong ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
• Solid understanding of machining principles (tooling, speeds, and feeds)
• High attention to detail
• Basic computer skills
Schedule:
Monday – Thursday
3:15 PM – 1:45 AM (Second Shift)
