This position is a DIRECT HIRE ROLE from day one

Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate and direct architect, engineer, surveyor and other professionals so project goals are met during all phases of a project.
  • Work with the project engineer on all project goals.
  • Provide all information to the project engineer so the that project engineer can successfully direct all field operations for a given project.
  • Identify several qualified suppliers and subcontractors for each trade and vendor supplied material.
  • Develop and maintain up-to-date a schedule of material unit prices for materials and equipment such as lumber.
  • Once a project is under contract, take actions so the project is ready for construction including completing design documents, completing final pricing for eth project, writing up material lists, submitting regulatory permit applications, obtaining permits or approvals and utilizing a project document filing system.
  • Manage the project budget contingency line item to minimize its use.
  • Provide assistance during the sales phase of a project as requested.
  • Work to maintain adequate communications with a project owner including conducting the weekly meetings to discuss project progress, scheduling and issues resolution.
  • Prepare change orders and with Accounting, related client invoicing for schedule adherence, budget and extra work not described in the Contract.
  • Work with Accounting to assure client invoicing is completed in an accurate and timely manner.
  • Manage the conduct of the project so that the budget and any adjustments thereto are not exceeded.
  • Prior to the completion of each assigned project, meet with proper departments to prepare a punchlist.
  • Monitor the completion of all warranty items to assure customer satisfaction in a fair and reasonable manner.
  • Present to the client the original manufacturer’s equipment warrantees in the Owner’s Warrantee Manual.
  • Monitor quality control throughout a project using.

Qualifications:

  • At least five years previous experience with residential new construction and remodeling experience
  • Good computer skills including Microsoft Office
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Hours are:

Monday through Friday – First Shift

The pay is up to $90K a year based on experience
