Repair of Diesel Engines $26.50/hour (permanent job)
Responsibilities:
- Diagnose, adjust, repair or overhaul trucks
- Maintain and repair diesel engines including heavy diesel engines
- Following safety procedures including hazardous materials, lock out tag out, confined space entry and hot work
- Fabricate hydraulic hoses
- Assisting with vehicle inspections daily
- Preventative maintenance including oil and filter changes
- Repair/replacement of engine system, transmission, clutch, air brake, wheel end assembly, suspension, cooling, charging and light system
- General maintenance of area including machines, equipment
- Wash parts using machines such as steam cleaner
Qualifications:
- At least two years previous experience with diesel mechanic
- Certified for air brake system repairs
- Have own tools
- Welding experience with arc preferred
- Class B license with tanker and DOT card is preferred
- Good driving record
Hours are:
Monday through Friday – first shift
The pay is up to $26.50
