Electrical Repair of Machines $35/hour (permanent job)
This position is a DIRECT HIRE ROLE from day one
Responsibilities:
- Connect wires to circuit breakers, transformers or other components
- Test electrical systems or continuity of circuits in electrical wiring, equipment or fixtures
- Using testing devices ohmmeters, voltmeters or oscilloscopes to make sure compatible and safety
- Inspect electrical systems and components to identify hazards, defects or need for adjustment or repair
- Maintain license and certification to meet government regulations
- Place conduit, pipes or tubing inside designated partitions, walls or other hidden areas
- Pull wires to complete circuits between boxes
- Repair or replace wiring, equipment or fixtures using hand or power tools
- Install ground leads and connect power cables to equipment
- Fasten small metal or plastic boxes to walls to house electrical switches or outlets
- Construct and fabricate parts
- Digging trenches to lay conduit or moving heavy objects as needed
- Assisting during emergencies
Qualifications:
- Journeyman electrician license or higher
- At least three years previous experience
- Good attention to detail
- Good communication skills
The hours are:
Monday through Friday – day hours
The pay is up to $35.00 an hour
