Estimator Opportunity – (Direct Hire) $80 – $100K/year
This position is a DIRECT HIRE ROLE from day one
Responsibilities:
- Drafting and submitting estimates, working with architects, contractors and owners
- Reviewing specifications for compliance and draft qualifications and any exceptions for the specifications
- Performing material take offs and using material optimization
- Reviewing logistics and the access to the work
- Calculating labor, equipment and material costs
- Soliciting vendor pricing and comparing vendor quotes
- Writing and submitting proposals
- Working with different teams to complete estimates and developing presentations
Qualifications:
- Knowledge of architectural and structural construction documents
- Experience in drafting proposals, negotiating work
- Experience with estimating software
- Experience with Revit, Navisworks, AutoCAD
- Knowledge of systems used in the commercial glazing industry
Hours are:
Monday through Friday – First Shift
The pay is $80 – $100K based on experience
