Automotive Mechanic (permanent job) $35 – 38/hour
Responsibilities
- Manages and coordinates the operational and maintenance activities the fleet vehicles
- Oversees the operations of the mechanic shop making sure all the mechanical maintenance and repairs are being done correctly and safely
- Plans, organizes, directs, supervises and evaluates the activities, programs and operations, determines and establishes priorities
- Makes recommendations as needed to ensure work is being done correctly and safely
- Manages, mentors and leads others in the performance of their duties in accordance with company policy and procedures
- Maintains and keep all equipment in good working condition
- Diagnoses, rebuilds and repairs trucks, trailers and other equipment
- Ensures that inspections and preventive maintenance are conducted
- Prepares and maintains records and reports
- Maintains a clean shop
Qualifications:
- ASE or dealership is a plus
- Able to troubleshoot, diagnose and repair equipment
- Tool box with basic hand tools is required
- Valid drivers license and good driving record
- Ability to obtain a DOT card
Hours are:
Monday through Friday – 7am – 4:30pm
The pay is $35 – $38.00 an hour based on experience
