Industrial Sewing Operator – $18/hour
Responsibilities:
- Sewing material and components for industrial production
- Placing spool of thread onto spindle of machine including machine guides
- Operating foot petals and hand levers needed to operate sewing machine
- Guiding parts under needle, seams, guides on machine
- Measuring and cutting new material, using instructions, sketches, designs, measurements and patterns
- Reading work orders to ensure using correct material and what is required for the job
- Operating, setting up and adjusting machine setting to produce quality work
- Feeding fabric into machine
- Making sure it is running smoothly and correcting any issues that may arise
Qualifications:
- Previous experience with industrial sewing
- Good attention to detail
- Ability to understand written instructions
The hours are:
Monday through Friday – first shift
The pay is $18.00 an hour
