Mechanical and Assembly Operations $25/hour

Responsibilities:

  • Performing non-complex mechanical and assembly operations using blueprints, schematics, technical manuals and other specifications
  • Point to point wiring, reading schematics, soldering
  • Assemble, test and repair assemblies to conformance of established standards
  • Assist engineers in formulating tests and evaluation plans and procedures to maintain precision accuracy for building, testing, and operation of assemblies
  • Review work orders, product specifications and technical instructions to determine facility requirements and requisition tools, equipment and supplies needed to meet production goals
  • Testing for functional operation and inspection sequences
  • Examine product for defects using manufacturing and quality standards to ensure conformance to product specification
  • Using variety test equipment, assembly equipment hand tools such as; analog and digital multi-meters, torque drivers, standard and metric wrenches, socket wrenches, pliers, wire strippers, drills, heat guns, micrometers, calipers, verniers, digital thermometers, chart records, soldering iron, hand crimp tools

Qualifications:

  • At least two years previous experience
  • Knowledge of precision mechanical and electro-mechanical assembly processes
  • Understanding of electrical and mechanical testing and test equipment
  • Experience with Microsoft Windows and Office
  • Experience in the use of basic electronics measuring devices VOM and capacitance meters

The hours are:

Monday through Friday – 6am to 2:30pm

The pay is up to $25.00 an hour
