Tool and Die Room Supervisor -$45/hour (Direct Hire)
Responsibilities:
- Tool manufacturing, development and testing activities to make sure specifications are being met
- Provide technical advise and support on all aspects of tool design, manufacturing and estimating
- Support production/engineering with tooling and technical problems
- Manage the running and plan activities of the tool room facilities and toolmakers
- Make sure the tool room is in compliance with health, safety and environmental requirements
- Assist, manage and guarantee on time availability of tools to ensure continues production
- Support proposals on new equipment and tool design
- Provide quotations for new tooling, modifications and repairs
Qualifications:
- At least 10 years previous experience in tool room
- CNC programming experience is a plus
- Strong technical understanding
- Previous supervisor experience is preferred
Hours are:
Monday through Friday 7am to 3:30pm
The pay is up to $45 an hour
