CNC Lathe Machinist – $30/hour (Direct Hire)

This position is a DIRECT HIRE ROLE from day one

Responsibilities:

· Operates CNC lathes to produce components ranging in sizes from 2-inch diameter/short length to 20-inch diameter/long length

· Use instruments and gauges, shop tools to verity operational drawing requirements and part conformance

· Read and understand basic technical drawings to produce parts that meet specifications

· Adjust machine offsets to ensure part conformance

· Use indexable cutting tools to ensure proper edge

· Perform minor setups as needed

· Measure and document dimensions during operations and maintain appropriate machining and operations records

· Follow company process and procedures to comply with ISO and AS9100 standards

Qualifications:

At least three years previous CNC lathe experience
Knowledge of machining principles and GD&T
Able to use hand tools, measuring instruments, gauges for setups and machining operations
Good organizational skills

Hours are:

Monday through Friday first shift 7am to 3:30pm or second shift 3:30pm to 12:00am

The pay is up to $30.00 an hour with 10% shift differential for second shift
