hour (direct hire)

This position is a DIRECT HIRE ROLE from day one

Responsibilities:

Program, setup and operate CNC machines
Multi-axis lathes Experience Needed
Working with various metal types from raw stock to finished product
Plan and layout work from customer drawings and other specifications
Determine speed, feed, tolerances and sequences needed to perform a completed sequence of operation
Make setups and adjust machines
Making trial cuts as needed
Finishes metal by hand or machine
Using measuring instruments such as vernier, calipers, micrometers, surface gages, profilometer, vision systems and dial indicators
Calculate complex and/or component angles and dimensions

Qualifications:

Familiar with various metal types
Knowledge of measuring instruments such as vernier, calipers, micrometers, surface gages, profilometer, CMM is a plus, vision systems and dial indicators
Knowledge of trigonometric formulas to calculate complex, component angles and dimensions
Experience with basic shop math
Basic computer skills

Hours are:

Monday through Friday -7am to 3:30pm

The pay is up to $40.00
