Project Manufacturing Manager $100K/year

This position is a DIRECT HIRE ROLE from day one

Responsibilities:

Managing production staff including sheet metal fabrication processes
Working with the second shift supervisor to make sure production targets and deadlines are being met
Working with purchasing to make sure materials and supplies are being ordered correctly
Organize, monitor and prioritize jobs to meet production goals
Troubleshoot and problem solve production stoppages
Verify settings by measuring positions, first-run parts, and sample workpieces
Following quality production standards and tight tolerance requirements
Verify that part number, revision level, operation sequence, materials and program and are all correct and consistent
Ensure that jobs are run in an efficient, organized and safe manner while following the work instructions on the print and/or work order sequence
Maintain the quality of the workflow as required to ensure that the product meets or exceeds the customer specifications
Attending and participating in team meetings

Qualifications:

At least 5 years previous hands-on experience working in a sheet metal manufacturing company
Must have understanding of manufacturing, machining and production processes
Prior job scheduling experience is required
Previous experience managing production team
Ability to work in a fast paced environment with tight turnaround times
Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug and background screening

Hours are:

Monday through Friday – 7am to 3:30pm

The pay is up to $100K a year based on experience
