Quality Inspector (CMM) – (Direct Hire)

This position is a DIRECT HIRE ROLE from day one

Responsibilities:

Mechanically inspect machine components of various sizes
Using inspection tools such as: micrometer, height stand, caliper, bore gage, CMM
Setup inspection equipment for shop floor use such as bore gauges, height stands
Sample in-process components to ensure adherence to engineering specification
Inspect final components to customer drawings, specifications, and procedures
Perform incoming inspection of raw material and components
Operate various equipment to include CMM and UT inspection equipment
Support in internal and external audits as needed
Reading and understanding drawings, GD&T in order to ensure parts meet specifications
Recording observations and making recommendations as needed for improving process
Folling company processes and procedures to be in compliance with ISO 9001:2015 and AS9100 standards

Qualifications:

At least three years previous experience in quality and manufacturing
Experience with precision measuring tools
Comprehension of numbers, basic trigonometry & geometry (basic shop math) to be able to verify setups, and part dimensions
Ability to read and understand drawings, GD&T in order to ensure parts meet specifications
Ability to follow company processes and procedures to comply with ISO 9001:2015 and AS9100 standards

Hours are:

Monday through Friday – second shift 3:30pm to 12:00am

The pay is based on experience
