Sheetmetal Inspector $35/hour (permanent job)
This position is a DIRECT HIRE ROLE from day one
Responsibilities:
- Perform customer first-article inspection to qualify new or revised products or ·components.
- Maintain accurate records including, in-process first piece, discrepant material, MRB results, and others as required.
- Accurately reads and uses blueprints, written specifications, quality plans, and procedures.
- Works with a wide variety of gage, instruments, and inspection devices
- Instructs operations personnel in inspection methods for new or existing products.
- Performs inspection for incoming, in-process, and final components as assigned.
- Performs Daily Production Audits, maintains a log.
- Complies with company handbook and with all company policies including safety, GMP and ISO requirements. ‘
Requirements:
- Previous quality control experience required
- Able to analyze and interpret common technical journals, blueprints and other technical drawings
- Math concepts such as: probability and statistics, fundamentals of plane and solid geometry and trigonometry
- Good computer skills
Hours are:
Monday through Friday – 7am to 3:30pm
The pay is up to $35.00 an hour based on experience
